Offaly's very own Olivia Burke is making waves in the Irish singer-songwriter scene and her latest song, released on YouTube last month is a stunning self-penned piece lamenting the lack of peace in our world.

The song uses the a lilting melodic tune and hopeful vocals to convey the 17-year-old's dismay at the amount of war and conflict in the world. As the title suggests, the concept of the song is to ponder the fact that a totally peaceful society is just a beautiful dream, rather than our reality.

The Tullamore teenager first came to our attention as a 12-year-old in 2012 when she released a charity single called ‘Missing’ to raise funds for the charity MISS (Missing in Ireland Support Service). As a 12-year-old, she made it to the final of Junior Midlands Got Talent in 2012 with her mix of original songs, and she continues to write and perform her own music today.

This latest one will give you goosebumps as it is a beautiful song that shows her longing for a peaceful world amid growing conflicts across the globe.
