Edenderry man Shane Hynes has given the Offaly Express an exclusive listen to one of the songs from his upcoming and eagerly anticipated EP. The song is called, 'Walk With You,' and follows in a line of music released online to widespread acclaim by the rising star in recent months. Shane keeps his fans up to date through his 'Shane Hynes Music' Facebook page as he prepares to launch his first sole EP this year.

"Shane is setting a ripple effect in motion which is gaining momentum," his manager James Kearney said. The young singer-songwriter has yet to perform his first show with his most recent music, unlike many previous acts, he's taking a different approach in getting his music out before he plays to an audience.

He is, however, a seasoned performer and has been one of the Midlands' busiest entertainers for almost ten years, including spells with a successful local band called Kick Richard some years ago. He has been performing solo more recently and began work last year on his debut EP, which will certainly take the Irish charts by storm.

"He is an experienced performer, but since deciding to follow the path of original music, the main aim has been to write, record and release," James Kearney explained. Shane also picked up the 'Best Newcomer' award at last year's Leinster Entertainment Awards.

His debut Single and EP is coming later this summer, while he is also set to be featured on a compilation album called 'Live Loud Music,' which is due to be released this coming Friday, February 24. "This will be the first showcase of his original material but far from the last," his manager concluded.
