On Thursday, September 18, thousands of people across Ireland enjoyed a Bewley’s #coffee4hospice as part of Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning, raising much needed funds for local hospice services.
Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning is essential to hospice fundraising efforts across Ireland. All money raised in County Offaly at #coffee4hospice events stays local, going directly back to fund local Hospice care services in the area.
Pat Quinlan, Chairman of the Voluntary Hospice Group commented, “we would like to thank everybody around the country for their support for Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning and to reassure the public that their generosity will make a difference to so many palliative care patients, and their families.
“There is a growing demand for hospice services and in these difficult and challenging financial times, funds raised through this major national event are hugely important. Money raised locally stays local and is targeted towards local service provision. We in the sector are very grateful for the ongoing public support we receive and to Bewley’s for their invaluable sponsorship and support once again.”
Mark Saunders, Bewley’s Brand Director said, “We are delighted that so many people nationwide got involved in Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning and enjoyed a cup of Bewley’s coffee, raising much needed funds for local hospice services. A huge thank you to all that organised or attended a coffee morning, every cup of Bewley’s coffee consumed on behalf of Hospice has made a difference to someone’s quality of life. Bewley’s are delighted to continue their long standing commitment to supporting Ireland’s Biggest Coffee Morning and we look forward to planning for 2015.”
