OSPCA join in St Patrick’s Day fun

WHETHER it was on two legs or four, all OSPCA members had fun walking behind the Offaly SPCA banner in the Tullamore St Patrick’s Day Parade.

One of the four legged walkers deserving of a special mention is Bobby, an elderly Yorkshire Terrier who featured recently in a remarkable ‘Operation Transformation’ after being found wandering in Tullamore in a truly pitiable condition. Bobby is just visible in the arms of Michael McMahon, with his ‘foster Mum’, Chrissie McMahon just beside him on extreme right of the photo. Latest news about Bobby is that he has been happily re-homed. Here’s hoping he will be renewing acquaintance with all his OSPCA friends at next year’s parade!
