The numbers drawn in the most recent Tubber GAA lotto were 2, 12, 17, and 23. There was no jackpot winner and just one match three winner, John Macken. The next draw takes in The Cat on Sunday, February 5 when the jackpot will be €9,600.

The Pitch

Sincere sympathy to Donal McLoughlin and his family on the recent death of his sister Mrs Maura McLoughlin, Castletown Geoghegan. May she rest in peace.

Tubber/Ballycumber Ladies Football

A meeting will be held on Wednesday night February 1 in Tubber GAA Clubhouse in relation to forming a Ladies Junior Football team at 9.30pm.

Any girl from the area over the age of 16 years old can attend on the night or if you are unable to attend or have an interest in joining the junior football please contact Gerry Robbins at (087) 6387498 or Siobhan Fox at (087) 9019117.

Brosna CCÉ

The Brosna CCÉ Comhaltas branch is very busy putting the final touches on their show in the Horseleap, Streamstown Community Centre, on Saturday, February 11 at 8.30pm (Doors open 8pm. Admission adults €7, students & OAP’s €5 and children €3).

It promises to be a most entertaining night with the first part of the show consisting of the winning show from the Mummers Festival in New Inn Galway. With the Brosna CCÉ Group and friends along with the Streamstown Dancers.

The second part of the show will be full of surprise acts and surprise guests, which all artists are more than welcome.
