Clonbullogue Community Preschool is holding an Open day on Tuesday, February 7 in the playschool from 12.45 to 1.45pm. Enrol your child for the Free Preschool Year, September 2012. Parents of children aged 2yrs 10months to five years are invited to attend.

Card drive

Clonbullogue Parish Council are requesting parishioners to host house games to assist with the disposal of card drive tickets, the card drive takes place in late March. Please contact your Parish Council representative.


Angel and healing classes will be held in Clonbullogue Hall commencing on Friday, February 22 from 7.30to 9.30pm. Enrolling on the 22nd at 7.30pm or call to the parish hall on Saturday mornings to enrol with Ms Marie McCabe, phone 0857573992.


Clonbullogue Development Association will commence their weekly draw in April, the tractor run will be held in May and the Steam Threshing on the last Sunday in August.

Girls GAA

St Broughan’s girls GAA meeting for committee members will take place in Clonbullogue Hall on Friday, February 3 at 7.30pm sharp. All members to attend. Training for the coming season starts on Saturday, February 4 at 11am for girls under 12 and 14 years.

All are welcome to come along and new members welcome. Best of luck to the girls taking part in the upcoming county trials.


The AGM of St Broughan’s GAA club on Thursday night at 8pm in the Bord na Mona hall, St Broughan’s Park, Bracknagh. All members and new members to attend.

Schools Week

To celebrate schools week this week, the role of grandparents in the formation and support of children will be celebrated on Friday next with Mass at 9.15am in the Sacred Heart Church followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall provided by the Parents Association.

The occasion provides an opportunity to appreciate the role of parents and grandparents in the life of the school.
