RHODE’S Megan Addie is one of thirty-two little ‘ambassadors’ nationwide promoting the Toy Show Experience which takes places this weekend November 4 - 6 at the Convention Centre, Dublin.

And inside the past week, determined Megan has managed to cover Rhode, Edenderry, Daingean, Tullamore, Mucklagh, Kilcormac, Birr, Moneygall, Kinnitty and Clareen meeting with groups in local areas, speaking with with business people and distributing flyers for the event.

Last Sunday, Megan travelled over 100km from Rhode to Moneygall and into Ollie Hayes’ famous bar. Moneygall and Offaly was the focus of world media attention in May of this year when President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle visited his relations there.

Megan would like to say a big thank-you to Henry Healy, Ollie Hayes and his family for taking so much time to talk to her, pose for photos and making her feel so welcome.

As it is impossible to meet everyone in Offaly in such a short time frame, Megan wishes to remind everyone that Jedward will be making an appearance at the Toy Show Experience on the Friday morning at 10am, for a 90 minute meet and greet in which time they will meet as many fans that have tickets for the show as possible!

Tickets are €5 child, €12 adult or a family ticket, 2 Adults + 2 kids, is €26 (U-3s go FREE) and can be bought from ticketmaster. Check out www.toyshowexperience.com
