Learning is fun in a childminding setting

NATIONAL Child-minding week aims to raise awareness among Childminders of the supports available to them locally through the Childminder Advisory Service and the County Childcare Committee. The theme for 2011 is ‘Learning is fun in a Childminding Setting’.

NATIONAL Child-minding week aims to raise awareness among Childminders of the supports available to them locally through the Childminder Advisory Service and the County Childcare Committee. The theme for 2011 is ‘Learning is fun in a Childminding Setting’.

For the eighth consecutive year, Offaly County Childcare Committee are organising an event to celebrate National Childminding Week. Offaly Childminders and children will have the opportunity to attend a fun morning on Friday morning, April 15 in Tullamore.

The aim of the morning is to have fun!!, and raise awareness of the supports available to Childminders in the county. Why not come along and join in the fun. Pre booking your places is necessary.

Offaly County Childcare Committee and the local Childminder Advisory Officer provide support to Childminders through information, training and networking opportunities.
