Senior Hurling Championship: Drumcullen were very unlucky to lose to Birr in Banagher last Thursday evening. The lads put it right up to Birr from the start and had the odd ball bounced differently, they could have easily won the game. If they keep up this level of performance in subsequent games, they will go well.

JHC: Drumcullen were beaten by Tullamore on Sunday.

Div 2 HL: Drumcullen will be looking to make it nine wins from nine games in the league when they host Ballyskenagh tonight (Tuesday) in Rath at 7.30pm. On Sunday Drumcullen host Crinkle on Sunday at 3pm.

Div 3 HL: Drumcullen travel to face Raheen on Monday, July 2

Lotto: Numbers Drawn were 3, 4, 14, 19. No Jackpot Winner. Promoters Prize went to Jimmy O’Brien. Jackpot next week is €6,550. Match 3 Winners receive €50 each; Peter Bennett; Amy & Sarah Ryan; Ann Nolan.

Defibrilator: Drumcullen GAA club are seeking to gather names of persons qualified in the use of AED (defibrillator). If you are trained and certified at present and would like to have your name on the list, please contact Pamela Nugent. Anyone interested in undergoing training in this area, please contact Pamela Nugent.

Golf Classic: The club’s annual golf classic takes place this year on Friday, July 20.

Coaching: Anyone looking to get involved with helping out in the coming years will require a foundation coaching course, numbers permitting we can get one done in Rath. Contact Joe Troy on 0872794541.

Lotto Rota: Team 1 (Willie Fleury’s team) is on duty this weekend.
