AS part of Culture Night celebrations in Offaly this Friday, September 23 in Edenderry Library there will be a focus on the many writers in Offaly, with recitals and a discussion on life as a writer.

The evening is being led by Geraldine O’Neill, author of some nine novels and everyone is welcome, whether to contribute as an author, poet or playwright or to listen to the wealth of literary talent in our midst and learn more about a writer’s life.

With music and refreshments, this will be just as much a social occasion for anyone interested in literature.

If you would like to participate or attend the Edenderry event please email arts@offalycoco.ie or edenderrylibrary@offalycoco.ie
