Cappagh NS supporting OSPCA

THE pupils of Cappagh NS were delighted when Collette Coates of the Offaly Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals visited the school recently.

THE pupils of Cappagh NS were delighted when Collette Coates of the Offaly Society for the prevention of Cruelty to Animals visited the school recently.

She spoke about the stray animals in her care at the pound in Cappincur and how much animal welfare is important. As a token of thanks, the pupils organised a collection of dog and cat food which they presented to her last week. She was very touched by the generosity of the children and their families. She thanked Frank Brennan (Principal) and his staff for their interest and support.
