Roscrea poet seeking patrons

roscrea poet John Browne has come up with an interesting method of funding his second book of poems, stories and memories which he hopes to launch in May. John is currently seeking patronage of €20 which in turn will entitle patrons to a signed hardback copy of the book. Also the patron’s name will appear on the Patron’s List in the book. After a sell out success of his first publication this new book entitled ‘Wandering Back and Forth’ is certain to be very popular.

This book explores folklore, history and remembrances of the past through the recountances of not only John but others who have lived through them. The book includes countless references to landmarks and people in the Dunkerrin, Shinrone and Roscrea area. It includes short stories for example ‘Two Women on a Mission’, ‘The Cure’ and much much more.

This book is certianly not to be missed and as this publication will be a limited print it is vital that you secure your copy before April 2.
