A tractor run will take place on Saturday, May 7 to raise funds for the medical treatment of 8 year old Cloghan child Daniel Daly.

Daniel was diagnosed with leukaemia in December 2008 and lost his sight as a result of his illness. It is hoped the run will help to fund vital stem cell treatment to restore Daniel’s sight.

The tractors will leave Cloghan at 10am sharp that morning and travel via Ferbane, Moate and Tullamore then back to Cloghan. Registration will take place in Cloghan between 9am and 9.45am and all tractors must be insured and registered on the morning.

Sponsorship cards are available for all those wishing to take part and anyone wishing to donate money may donate to the Daniel Daly Trust (Account No. 42894401) in any Bank of Ireland.

For further information please contact Billy Meleady (087)9751130 or Daniel Hogan (087)2597295.
