Celebrate World Animal Week at Petmania Tullamore

WORLD Animal Week runs from Tuesday, October 4 to 11 to coincide with the feast day of St Francis of Assisi who is the patron saint of animals and to mark the event Petmania, Tullamore Retail Park are inviting members of the public to their store on Saturday, October 8 for a fun-filled day of activitiy.

WORLD Animal Week runs from Tuesday, October 4 to 11 to coincide with the feast day of St Francis of Assisi who is the patron saint of animals and to mark the event Petmania, Tullamore Retail Park are inviting members of the public to their store on Saturday, October 8 for a fun-filled day of activitiy.

At 11am there will be a Meet & Greet with the store’s reptiles, then at 12 noon there will be an opportunity to meet small animals, a Kids Treasure Hunt from 12 noon and at 2pm enter your pet to the Pet Fancy dress competition!

OSCPA will be in store from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday & Sunday, October 8 & 9 for Petmania Adoption Days.

There will also be colouring competitions, and much more during the week so call in with your pets and celebrate World Animal Week.

World Animal Week is an annual celebration and a great reminder to all animal lovers to take special care of our pets and to act with compassion and respect towards them every day.

Petmania is a huge supporter of animal welfare and is currently developing meaningful partnerships with a number of animal rescue centres that will help create secure and loving homes for animals around the country. Petmania run adoption centres in some of their stores by linking up with highly regarded animal rescues.
