THE National Learning Network Students are busily preparing for their annual awards night.

THE National Learning Network Students are busily preparing for their annual awards night.

The Awards night will be held in the Bridge House Hotel on Wednesday March 16 at 7.30 pm.

This is a great way of celebrating the hard work, commitment and dedication that the students have put in over the past year. A total of 60 people will be receiving certification, across a wide variety of course, all accredited by FETAC.

National Learning Network based in the Tanyard Tullamore is the training and employment section of the Rehab Group. It caters for over 70 students, offering a number of vocational and rehabilitive training courses including Employer Based Training, Distance Learning, Fresh Start, Access and Transitions.

Theses courses allow the students to develop skills, knowledge, confidence and resources to access employment and other options in the wider community.

The Awards night will be attended by students of the National Learning Network, past and present, families and friends. Guests from the National Learning Network, FAS, and the HSE. The guest speaker of the night will be local DJ Joe Cooney of Midlands 103. Following the Awards Ceremony their will be music and refreshments.
