Cloudy with outbreaks of rain

A few bright or sunny intervals will occur too, these at their best over southern counties. Highs of 9 to 12 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, westerly winds.
The weather forecast from Met Eireann states that Friday night will continue mainly dry, however a few patches of drizzle and mist will occur and it will stay mild will lows between 4 and 9 Celsius. It looks like rain will arrive on north and west coasts by Saturday morning and it will become breezy everywhere as south to southwest winds freshen.
According to the forecast, on Saturday rain will spread to all areas together with strong and gusty southwest winds. Blustery showers will follow later in the afternoon, some of the showers turning heavy and possibly wintry in the north.
