Met Eireann has issued a SStatus Yellow wind warning for five counties as the country braces for the remnants5of Ex Hurricane Oscar on Friday night.
Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry ate covered by the warning.
The national forecaster warns southerly winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 km/h, gust 90 to 100 km/h later Friday and Friday night in Atlantic coastal counties, strongest on the coast.
Elsewhere, the rest of the country can also expect largely unsettled conditions with significant winds and gusts.
The warning is valid from Friday 02 November 2018 15:00 to Saturday 03 November 2018 12:00.
