Thousands will take to the streets of Dublin tomorrow for the hugely popular event

Temperatures are going to be in the 20s when thousands of women take to the streets of Dublin on Sunday for the VHI Womens Mini Marathon.

The annual 10k event takes place on the June Bank Holiday weekend in Dublin each year and is the largest women's event of its kind in the world with millions having been raised for charity since it began in 1983.

According to Met Eireann, mist and fog will clear on Sunday morning to give a dry day with sunny spells. It will be very warm with highs of 20 to 22 degrees.

There are two entrances to the event.  Access will be via Lower Leeson Street/Pembroke St (White, Pink, Blue wave) or Lower Baggot Street/Merrion Row (Yellow wave). Traffic restrictions will be in place. The race gets underway at 2pm.
