According to Met Eireann, Ireland is in for a very mixed week of weather with spells of blustery wind and rain interspaced with dry periods. Temperatures will be below normal for early July
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Ireland, Monday morning will be mostly cloudy with scattered outbreaks of light rain or drizzle, gradually clearing eastwards through the afternoon with sunny spells following. A few patches of drizzle may linger in the southeast until evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees in moderate westerly winds, becoming northwesterly.
Monday night will start off mainly dry with clear spells and possibly a few showers in northern areas. Lowest tempe the north and northwest. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees in mostly light northwest or west winds.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, Tuesday will be dry apart from a few showers. However, cloud will increase in the west in the evening. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees, mildest for southern areas with moderate westerly winds. On Tuesday night, rain will spread eastwards to all areas with moderate to fresh southerly winds. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, Wednesday will be breezy with cloud and outbreaks of rain in the morning, clearing eastwards to sunny spells and showers in the afternoon. Highest temperatures of 14 to 18 degrees with moderate to fresh westerly winds. On Wednesday night, showers or longer spells of rain will spread across Ulster and north Connacht. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with westerly winds becoming strong and gusty on west and north coasts.
According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, Thursday will be blustery or windy with spells of rain for much of the day over the northern half of the country. Sunshine and scattered showers further south. Highest temperatures of 12 to 17 degrees with fresh, gusty westerly winds.
