Accessible Counselling Tullamore to host two fundraising events this weekend
Accessible Counselling (ACT) is encouraging the community to get involved in two fundraising events taking place this weekend in support of the organisation’s community counselling service.

On Friday, ACT’s Annual Golf Classic returns to Esker Hills Golf Club for what promises to be an enjoyable day on the course. Limited tee times are still available for teams wishing to participate.
As part of the Golf Classic, a Mega Raffle has also been announced with 6 amazing prizes up for grabs including a Garden Furniture Set with an RRP of €1,000, 2 x €500 Center Parcs Vouchers, 2 tickets to a Liverpool Champions League match, 2 tickets to Irish Rugby Autumn Series match and a luxury beauty hamper. Tickets are €10 each or 5 for €60 and can be purchased from ACT or through ACT’s social media pages.
On Saturday, members of the ACT team will take part virtually in the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon with a community walk from Fiona’s Way to Ballycommon Bakehouse.
All are welcome to join in and walkers are asked to meet at Fiona’s Monument at 10am, with tea and treats afterwards in Ballycommon Bakehouse.
As ACT receives no government funding, community fundraisers are essential in helping the organisation continue to provide affordable counselling and support services to those who need them.
