THE staff at Zoetis, a global animal healthcare company located in Sragh Business park, Tullamore held a Bake Sale/Jersey Day last week to support their colleague Karen Ravenhill in raising funds for the 12 Peaks Challenge in aid of Offaly Hospice and the Midlands Hospice Building Fund.

Karen Ravenhill (Durrow) and Shauna Mckeon (Tullamore) have taken on the challenge of hiking 12 of Irelands highest peaks to raise money for this worthy cause.

Currently the girls have completed 11/12 Peaks, hiking a total of 9494 m (31,148.29 ft) with one peak remaining. The successful Bake sale held at Zoetis, Tullamore raised an incredible €1,967.62 bringing the total donations to €5,367.62 which has exceeded the girl’s target goal of €5,000.

Karen and Shauna would like to thank the colleague forum at Zoetis, Tullamore for setting up such a successful fundraiser, every individual that baked or brought in delicious goodies and for all the money that was donated. They have been blown away by the support.
