Offaly teenagers enjoy walk to the top of Croghan Hill

FOUR teenagers from Daingean opted to begin the New Year on an energetic note by climbing to the top of Offaly's famous Croghan Hill recently.

The four enjoyed views of the Faithful county and surrounding counties from the top of the extinct volcano though fog obscured their line of sight.

The four - Max Hardy, Ryan Hanley, Mason Lawless and Thomas Morrisey – are pictured here at the summit of the hill.
