THE Local Enhancement Programme (LEP) 2026 is now open. The Programme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and is administered by Offaly County Council on behalf of Offaly Local Community Development Committees (LCDC).
The fund aims to support local strategic priorities through linkages with Offaly Local Economic Community Plan (LECP) 2024 - 2029.
Not-for-profit community or voluntary groups/organisations are invited to apply.

The total LEP 2026 fund available for Offaly is €186,553, and will be allocated as below:
Capital Funding for small scale capital projects including works/repairs and improvements to facilities; and purchase of equipment, subject to maximum grant of €6,000.
Playgrounds and Outdoor Recreational Spaces - €37,311 (20% of total fund) is ringfenced for Playgrounds and Outdoor Recreational Spaces Capital Funding.
Grants of €1,000 or less - €55,966 (30% of total fund) is ringfenced for capital funding for projects costing €1,000 or less.
