The coffee morning was a huge success

THIS August, during National Heritage Week, Bewley’s Big Coffee Morning for Hospice kicked off in style at The Auld Haggert in Horseleap.

The event was once again generously hosted by James Laragy, who, along with his dedicated team of volunteers, brought the local community together in support of Offaly Hospice Foundation.

Now in its fourth year, the Offaly Hospice Coffee Morning has become a cherished tradition, drawing friends, neighbours, and well-wishers from near and far.

This year’s gathering was made even more special by the presence of members of the local Moate Comhaltas group, who filled the morning with wonderful music and song.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of all who attended and donated, the fantastic total of €2,575 was raised on the day, a huge contribution that will go a long way in supporting the vital work of Offaly Hospice.

Offaly Hospice would like to extend sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the morning such a success. A special word of appreciation goes to James, Ann, May, Tom, and Mary for their tireless efforts in organising and hosting the event at The Auld Haggert. Their continued support and community spirit is truly inspiring.
