THE final push before judging in the SuperValu Tidy Towns competition takes place this Saturday, June 14 in Tullamore.
Tullamore Tidy Towns group is calling for volunteers across the town and surrounds for final planting of summer bulbs, weed scuffing, litter picks and washing of the planters.
Gloves, bags, pickers, tools and hiviz will be supplied.
Meet in O'Connor Square at 10am or contact 087 9546620.
Tea, coffee and scones at 1pm, sponsored by the Tullamore Court Hotel.
Said Cllr Shane Murray, chairman of Tullamore Tidy Towns: "Please play you part in Tullamore taking the top prize - We can't do it without your help - How you may ask? Simply get involved with your neighbours in your local estates, street or road residents associations, or look after your own patch outside your house."
