Tullamore-based Offaly School of Special Education (O.S.S.E) would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to Wayne Mooney who completed the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris on April 13 last, in support of the school.

Inspired by his Aunt Brigid, a dedicated Special Needs Assistant at O.S.S.E., Wayne took on the challenge after learning of the urgent need to fund recreational activities and essential therapies.

All at the school are deeply grateful for his incredible effort and generosity.

Wayne is pictured presenting a cheque for €2750 to his Aunt Brigid and Ed Graham – Principal of Offaly School of Special Education.

The funds raised will make a meaningful difference, allowing the school to provide vital therapies and enriching recreational activities that greatly enhance the well-being and development of the forty-two students who come from all over the county to Offaly’s only dedicated special school.
