The team at a leading Offaly energy company and friends have raised funds for two Tullamore based charities

THROUGHOUT November, the team at Lumcloon Energy embraced the Movember spirit, growing moustaches and raising awareness for men’s health.

This initiative was a show of solidarity for a great cause, as team members and friends proudly sported their moustaches throughout the month to spark conversations about health and well-being.

As part of this campaign, Lumcloon Energy made a contribution to two local charities that play crucial roles in supporting community well-being in Tullamore: Dóchas and Accessible Counselling Tullamore. Each organisation received a donation of €1,500 to further their charitable goals.

Barbering students from the Tullamore Community Training Centre have been a great support to this initiative each year, generously volunteering their time and skills to give the Lumcloon team a fresh shave, celebrating the end of Movember in style.

Lumcloon Energy extends a warm thank you to these talented students for their support and dedication to the cause.

Dóchas provides valuable support services for individuals and families impacted by cancer, while Accessible Counselling Tullamore offers affordable mental health services to those in need. Both organisations have become vital resources within the community, and Lumcloon Energy is proud to contribute to their work.

“We’re thrilled to have had our team and friends come together to raise awareness for causes that matter to us,” said Nigel Reams.

“Dóchas and Accessible Counselling Tullamore are making a real difference in people’s lives, and we’re delighted to support their work through this Movember initiative.”
