Offaly's Chasing Abbey set for big Dublin summer party on Thursday

TULLAMORE band Chasing Abbey will perform at The Summer Party, in The Chocolate Factory, Dublin city centre on Thursday.

Initially making their mark on the Irish scene with breakout tracks like 'Talk To Me' and 'That Good Thing' – both of which have garnered streams in their millions – the Tullamore dance pop trio have continued to impress, with energetic live sets and a series of superb singles.

Chasing Abbey has enjoyed a busy 2023 so far. They recently teamed up with a choir for a special version of their single 'Lie', and launched their impressive The Vault series, which finds them uploading one song a week exclusively to SoundCloud and YouTube.

One of their latest tracks from the series, the irresistible 'Oh My Johnny', recently hit No 1 in Ireland on SoundCloud's New & Hot playlist.

Special guest on the night will be Shiv, who will be bringing her captivating, genre-blending energy to The Chocolate Factory.

Following a string of lauded releases, the Zimbabwean-Irish artist is primed for international success – as she continues to make serious waves with recent singles 'Heavy Water' and 'Late Now'. Last year's 'Golden', meanwhile, has clocked up over 11.6 million streams on Spotify alone.

Hot Press has joined forces with Smooch Ice Cream to present The Summer Party where there will be a free, unlimited ice cream bar.

The Summer Party is an alcohol-free event, there will be a draw for festival tickets at the show and there will also be giant Jenga & Cornhole games.
