Ambitious targets in Offaly Tidy Towns' group action plan

THE launch of the Tullamore Tidy Towns Action Plan takes place this Wednesday, April 19 at 7.00pm in the Town Hall, Cormac St., Tullamore and members of the public, Residents Associations, businesses and individuals are very welcome to attend. 

"This is a significant launch of their Action Plan by Tullamore Tidy Towns and there will be presentations on Otter Survey, Sustainable Energy Community,Tullamore River Wetlands and Adopt a Kilometre-Tackling Litter,” said Cllr Sean O'Brien who is himself a volunteer with the group.

He added; “Great work is being undertaken by the Tidy Towns Committee but more help is needed from the wider Tullamore community if we are to progress to the standard to win a major National Award.    Together this certainly can be achieved."
