Offaly hurling and football teams announced for Sunday's crucial games
The Offaly hurling and football teams have been announced for their crucial games in O'Connor Park on Sunday.
Kevin Martin's hurlers will face Galway in the first game of the double header at 1pm while John Maughan's footballers face Carlow at 3pm.
The Offaly hurlers come into the game off the back of three defeats while Galway arrive in Tullamore with two wins and a draw against Carlow to their name.
The Offaly footballers face Carlow with one draw and two defeats to their name but that could easily have been three victories had the bounce of the ball gone their way. Carlow have one win from three games and a win for Offaly would see them jump past their opponents in the table.
