Incredible finish keeps Lowry in touch at Dubai Desert Classic

After struggling for much of his third round at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, Shane Lowry produced an incredible finish today to find himself just inside the top 20 going into the final round on nine under par.

After 15 holes on Saturday, the Offaly golfer was three over for his round but he finished birdie, eagle, birdie to climb almost 40 places into a tie for 19th going into the final round.

Following his incredible win in Abu Dhabi last weekend, Shane now finds himself in with a chance of mounting a charge on Sunday to track down the leaders, including Bryson Dechambeau who heads the field on 16 under par.
