Offaly name strong team for league opener with Westmeath

John Maughan and his management team have announced their side to take on Westmeath in the opening Round of the Allianz National Football League on Sunday in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park  at 2pm.

Peter Cunningham returns from injury a little earlier than expected to take his place in midfield while newly recruited Kilmacud forward Shane Hogan has also made the cut. 

Newly named captain Niall Darby will start in the half forward line alongside clubmate Anton Sullivan while Bernard Allen, Johnny Moloney and Ruairi McNamee startin the full forward line.
