Kevin Martin has tonight been ratified as the Offaly senior hurling manager.
The Tullamore man will take charge for his second season after getting the support of the county board.
The All-Ireland winner led Offaly through a mixed season in 2018 with a 13-point victory over Dublin in the Allianz League and an eventual relegation from the Leinster Championship proper.
Offaly lost all of their games in the Leinster Championship and will be replaced by Carlow in that competition in 2019.
Offaly will compete with the likes of Westmeath, Laois and Antrim in the Joe McDonagh Cup.
Kevin Martin has been a popular manager in his first year despite the team's championship woes with the 90s star blooding a number of prospects, including goalkeeper Eoghan Cahill who had an impressive year.
As expected, former Tipperary coach Declan Fanning has joined Martin's backroom team.
