Kevin Martin names team to face Kilkenny in Leinster Championship

Offaly Senior Hurling boss Kevin Martin has kept faith with the 15 players that lost put to Galway last weekend for his team's clash with Kilkenny this weekend.

The revived Offaly team play league champions Kilkenny on Sunday at 3pm in Nowlan Park in the 2nd Round of the Leinster Championship.

Offaly will be hoping for another big performance after staying with Galway for long periods last week and running Kilkenny to two points in the Allianz League quarter final earlier this year.

Shane Dooley was crucial last week and he continues at full forward while the team has huge ball winning ability across the half forward line with Oisin Kelly, Conor Mahon and Dan Currams.

The likes of Ben Conneely, Tom Spain and Sean Gardiner are tasked with halting the powerful presence of Walter Walsh in the full back line for Offaly.

Kilkenny go into the game as heavy favourites but Offaly will be buoyed by that league display in a game Offaly could easily have won after going man to man with Brian Body's team.
