Martin names strong Offaly hurling team for Galway test

Kevin Martin has named his Offaly Senior hurling team to play Galway in the opening round of the Leinster Championship on Saturday evening at 7pm in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park.

Martin hadbno fresh injury concerns after the league and has named an impressive line up.

Conor Mahon, Oisin Kelly and Joe Bergin make up a seriously imposing half forward line while there's more ball winners in the full forward line, the likes of Dan Currams and Shane Dooley.

Ben Conneely will be a key figure at corner back, as will Pat Camon at centre back. 

Kevin Martin has openly said that his team will go man to man, aiming to win against the reigning All-Ireland champions.
