Offaly name team for hurling league clash with Galway

Kevin Martin and his management team have named their Offaly Panel to play Galway on Sunday at 2pm in the 3rd Round of the Allianz National Hurling League.

Offaly are looking for an improved performance after suffering a heavy 17-point defeat at the hands of Limerick in their second game.

That followed the Dublin game where Offaly demolished the capital outfit in Croke Park.

Two Offaly Express Sports Star of the Month winners are in the starting team, including our most recent winner Shane Kinsella who is named at centre forward.

He's joined by our December winner, Colm Gath from Drumcullen in the half-forward line. Oisin Kelly will start on the other wing but will undoubtedly get game time further forward at some point.

Kevin Martin has said his team will go man to man with the reigning All-Ireland champions and the full-forward line looks particularly strong.

Kilcormac-Killoughey captain Dan Currams is joined by club teammate Conor Mahon and Belmont's Damien Egan.

The game throws in at 2pm on Sunday in Pearse Stadium, Galway.
