Offaly teams in preparation following Towns Cup draw

The 2018 Bank of Ireland Provincial Towns Cup 1st Round draw took place on Saturday afternoon at Bank of Ireland, Ballsbridge, with Leinster players Adam Byrne, Tom Daly and Offaly's own Peter Dooley on hand to pick the teams out of the hat.

The ties will be played on Sunday, January 21, and all games will kick-off at 2.30pm. Both Edenderry and Tullamore avoided last season's champions Tullow, but will face tough first round tests. 

The following teams have received byes to the 2nd Round: Ashbourne RFC, Longford RFC, Portarlington RFC.

Edenderry will once again face Clondalkin, the team that defeated them in the first round last season on a 26-23 scoreline, while Tullamore will face Athy.
