Pat Flanagan set for third year as Offaly Senior Football manager

Will Offaly defeat Kildare in the Qualifiers this Saturday?

Clara's Pat Flanagan will take charge of the Offaly Senior Football team for a third term next year after last night's Offaly County Board meeting.

Offaly only missed out on promotion from Division 3 this year on score difference having won four of their seven games.

Offaly defeated Longford in the First Round of the Leinster Championship ending a nine year wait for a provincial victory. They lost out to Westmeath in the next round but bounced back to beat London in the qualifiers.

They exited the championship at the hands of Kildare after a thrilling game in Newbridge.

Flanagan's selectors will be James Stewart, Pat Dingle Daly and Declan Farrell. Niall Gaynor and David Hare will also be part of the back-room team.
