Men's 050 team who won silver medals at the National Half Marathon on Sunday - Chris Donegan, Eanna Gowran and John Donegan.
Liam Brady led the Harriers Senior Men’s team of Pauric Ennis, Dave Murry and Michael O’Brien to a fantastic bronze medal at the National Half Marathon in Dublin last Sunday while the o50 Men’s team claimed a super silver medal thanks to the combined efforts of Chris Donegan, Eanna Gowran, John Donegan and Brendan Abbott.
Both teams overcame stiff competition to earn national medals for the club on a course took a route along the Quays before taking runners through the Phoenix Park where the race finished on Chesterfield Avenue.
Also taking part were Una Mullen, Olivia Weldon, Siobhan Wright and Brendan Sewell - well done to all.

International Celtic Games
Congratulations to juvenile athlete Rachel Keane who helped her 4x100m relay team to a gold medal at the International Celtic games in Swansea over the weekend as well as winning a silver medal with a fantastic performance in the U18 100m.
The strong Harriers contingent at last Friday’s Rhode 5k did very well with Padraig Berry finishing second in 17.11 behind Ferbane’s Paul Buckley. Raymond Ryan was third in 17.40. Pauline Curley won the women’s race in 18.13 with Sinead Rigney finishing third behind Lisa Murphy of St Michaels AC. There were wins for Harriers in the age-groups also where Johnny Feery (M50), Cian Martin (MJ), Jim Langan (M70) and Mary Daly (W50) led their categories. It was a tough race on a very hilly course which tested the legs of those who were competing for county titles with this race being the final leg of the summer’s Offaly Road Race Series. Quinlan Cup Half Marathon
Online entry is now open for this year’s Quinlan Cup Half Marathon through www.athleticsireland.ie. The entry fee is now €30 and online entry will close on 25th August. Entry on the day will be €35. The race starts at 11am on Sat 27th August and the relay option is also available.
Access to Harriers Facilities
Please note that use of the club’s facilities, including the tarmac track, is restricted to members of the club. Walkers are not permitted on the track during training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm-8pm.
