TULLAMORE GAA and Tullamore Camogie Club have joined forces to take part in a national competition hosted by Lucozade Sport. The ‘Lets get Counting’ campaign is well underway in the club as they attempt to take on clubs nationwide to win this somewhat different championship.

The prize for the winning team/club is a whopping €10,000 which could be put to great use in the development of both underage and adult games in the clubs. Both clubs are requesting the help of their members, players, supporters and people of Tullamore.

The way it works is that the clubs need to collect as many Lucozade Sport blue or white bottle lids as possible.

The club with the most lids collected wins the €10k. All clubs that collect more than 400 lids will be placed in a draw for €5k.

It is very easy - Instead of throwing the caps in the bin, you can throw them in your gear bag to bring to training or give them to any club member. There are special collection bags placed in each dressing room or you can leave them in the letter box or bag in the club office. You can keep up to date with Tullamore’s progress over the coming weeks on their Facebook page or on the club websites www.tullamoregaa.com & www.tullamorecamogie.com With your help ‘The Blues’ can win this championship. The clubs extend their thanks to those who have supported them so far. So ‘Lets get Counting!’
