Offaly boxer wins another national title

AN Offaly boxer won another national title when she competed at the National Championships in Dublin last weekend.

Tullamore woman Grainne Walsh was unstoppable as she beat Linda Desmond of Rylane BC, Cork, 5-0 in the 65kg ladies class.

An Olympian and bronze medallist at the World Championships last year, Walso now competes for the St Mary's Club in Tallaght and was in red hot form in her final bout.
