ONE of the biggest sporting events of the year, the 2011 Rugby World Cup, kicks off in New Zealand on September 9 next.
Ireland will compete in Pool C with Italy, USA, Russia and Australia with the top two teams qualifying for the quarter finals.
The crunch match in the pool takes place on Saturday, September 17 in Auckland when Ireland take on Australia in a game that will likely decide the group winners.
Ireland go the competition in confident mood after shattering England’s hopes of a Grand Slam in the Six Nations and Leinster’s historic comeback against Northampton to win a second Heineken Cup, not to mention Munster’s capturing of the Magners League.
To mark this huge sporting occasion, Tullamore Lions Club and Tullamore Rugby Club jointly present ‘The Rugby World Cup Big Breakfast’ in the Tullamore Court Hotel.
The big match will be shown live at 9.30am on Saturday September 17, 2011 and will include full, all you can eat, Irish breakfast with refreshments. It is intended to have a real match atmosphere in the room with loads of surprises and extras trown in. The game will be shown in HD on three big screens and numbers will be limited to 400.
Tickets are €30 each and will be going on sale shortly through both clubs. It will be a great way for businesses to entertain customers and also the event can be used by social clubs in the area to have a super morning-day out. The two clubs involved are very excited about the event and they can guarantee that everone who attends will have a thouroghly enjoyable experience.
