Defending champions Drumcullen got the defence of their Offaly Senior Camogie title off to a winning start with a 2-16 to 1-11 win over St Rynagh’s in Friday evening in Banagher.

Last year’s beaten finalists Shinrone also made a winning start accounting for K/K by 2-14 to 0-6.

In the other games Birr put down a marker with a 6-13 to 2-9 win over St Sinchill’s while Tullamore overcame Kinnitty by 3-10 to 0-4.
