Shakefest is back at Charleville Castle, Tullamore

SHAKEFEST is back at Charleville Castle, Tullamore, Co. Offaly once again after a 3 year online haitus and we want to celebrate!

In its 18th year, Shakefest will once again have a variety of fantastic arts and culture performances and activities for all ages to enjoy.

On Saturday, May 27th experience an inspiring and dynamic Drum Circle workshop from 6pm with JabbaJabba Jembe, followed by an incredible set of performances in the Ballroom including Bubble Lock Hip Hop, Indian Classical dance, Irish dance, music and storytelling with Rahan Comhaltas plus special guests, then featuring then dynamic Birr Co.

Offaly artists Finn Nichol with indoor castle art projections, as well as Caroline Conway who presents 'THE PEOPLE'S CASTLE', a spectacular illuminated projection show on the front of Charleville Castle, about Charleville Castle! This is an evening NOT to be missed!

On Sunday, May 28th, from 1-5:30pm, treat yourself to fun and energetic workshops with Rama from Bubble Lock, each for kids and adults, as well as an adventurous and explorational Abstract Paint Pour workshop for kids!

Camping is not available this year but please refer to our 'Where to Stay' page on the website should you need accommodation over the weekend.
