Peter Dooley (Centre) in Leinster blue PIC: Sportsfile
Offaly man and Leinster Rugby stalwart Peter Dooley looks set to swap provinces in a transfer to Andy Friend's Connacht team.
It's understood Dooley will link up with Connacht for the start of next season after making more than a hundred appearances for his home province.
The Birr man made his 99th appearance against the Lions last weekend and is almost guaranteed to hit the 100 mark before signing off at the RDS.
He will be joined on the road West by fellow Leinster teammate Adam Byrne.
The news was revealed by former Ireland international Bernard Jackman on The 42.ie's Rugby Weekly podcast.
He described the moves as "a big boost" for Connacht.
