There was a great turnout for the inaugural sponsored family fun walk for St Joseph's National School at Arden View, in Tullamore recently. The event was organised by the parents association in partnership with the school, with all the funds raised from the walk going directly towards the refurbishment of the special class playground. This space is an essential part of the school, providing a safe, engaging and supportive environment where children can learn, play and thrive. A refreshed playground will provide inclusive and accessible play equipment, create a stimulating sensory-friendly environment, encourage social interaction and physical activity and support the wellbeing and development of pupils.
