WATCH: Viral Offaly star rewrites Nathan Carter hit and namechecks Offaly pub

An Offaly TikTok star living in Australia is going viral once more with his rewritten interpretation of Nathan Carter hit 'Temple Bar.'

Shane Gallagher, better known as the Digger Dad on TikTok, shared a video of his version of the tune, renamed 'The Blackthorn Bar,' after a pub in his native Daingean.

The video has now amassed thousands of views and see the father of one name check other towns and villages in Offaly.

Shane has over 180,000 followers on the platform. He mostly shares videos from his digger where he sometimes sings and performs skits.

He starts the video with a shout-out to Nathan Carter himself and says "I hope you don't mind I take some of your Temple Bar music and turn it into the Blackthorn Bar."

He added: "You did that song with Ruaile Buaile too, local lads to where I come from, and many a night in the Blackthorn Bar, where I come from, those boys had us hopping."
