The Heath 10k
Paul Mitchell won the Heath 10k in Portlaoise last weekend by a comfortable margin having run a superb 34.48. Mark Donegan also had a great run, taking fourth place in 36.16.
Raheny 5 Mile
Liam Brady had a storming run at last Sunday’s Raheny 5 Mile where he finished 4th overall in 24.36. Also in action were Adrian Curley who ran 27.17 and Fionnan Minnock who ran 33.56. This is race that has become one of the most prestigious in the road race calendar, attracting the top runners in the country and making it a very tough competition. Well over 3000 runners took part. Mullingar’s Mark Christie won the race in 23.45.

Membership
Membership for 2017 is now due and should be paid hy the end of January. Membership runs for the calendar year and forms are available from the club house.
Access to Harriers Facilities
Please note that use of the club’s facilities, including the tarmac track, is restricted to members of the club. Walkers are not permitted on the track during training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm-8pm.
