TULLAMORE Harriers athlete Liam Brady will make his international debut on the track when he represents Ireland in the 10,000m on Thursday, July 21 in the European Junior Championships.
Over 1,000 athletes from 47 countries will contest the European Junior Championships will be held in Tallinn, Estonia from July 21 to 24.
It is the 21st time that the biannual event has been held and the best U-20 athletes in Europe will battle for the much coveted medals.
Coolderry native Liam is one of a fourteen strong Irish team and is the only Irish competitor in the 10,000m. The start lists will not be known until the day prior to the race so it is difficult to assess Liam’s chances.
