An eagle on the par 4 18th helped Offaly golfer Shane Lowry jump into a tie for fourth place after the second round of the Volvo Golf Champions event in South Africa.
He sits on five under going into the weekend after following his opening round of two under par 70 with a three under par 69.

He is seven shots off the pace being set by Louis Oousthuizen who leads the way on twelve under with Thongchai Jaidee and Scott Jamieson a shot further back.
That trio are cler of the field with Shane Lowry in a group of players next up tied for a share of fourth place.
The field features the winners of tournaments on the European Tour last year plus players with 10 or more official Race to Dubai/European Tour Order of Merit tournament wins under 50.
